I decided to call this blog "The Knights of the Square Table" because my passion and interest for medieval history was inspired by King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and since I originally started this blog to review books, which are square and rectangular, I thought that name would be an interesting play on words!

I originally started this blog in 2020 because of the COVID-19 outbreak and the millions of people stuck in quarantine; I wanted to create a site that is easily accessible and has information that can hopefully help entertain people and make them feel more comfortable during lockdown. I wanted to share my passion for medieval history through this blog, and maybe help other people discover a similar passion for the era as well. Most of all, I want to shed light on what is commonly known as the dark ages. Hopefully, people will visit this blog and discover new books to read, or movies to watch that will interest them and entertain them while they are at home. 

Yes, I will be updating my blog anytime I finish a new book, documentary, movie, or TV series. I will be updating consistently while abroad in the UK, so stay tuned for Fall 2023! 

I may try medieval board games or crafts like candlemaking, so if I do end up trying those activities then I will make sure to write reviews and recommendations for them on this blog.
